For more than 10 years, our Black-owned family business has shared Buffalo’s soulful Southern flavors, warm hospitality, and meals made with love. Our story began with Countri’s Kitchen, where family recipes and a passion for bringing people together laid the foundation for everything that followed.
That legacy grew into A Taste of Soul “The Hashery,” creating five meaningful years of memories on Elmwood Avenue alongside a community that welcomed and supported us every step of the way. Now, our journey continues at Pixie Bar & Grill, located at 1359 Jefferson Avenue and owned by our dear family friend, Kenny Ivy.
At Pixie, Ms. Countri is back on the grill, leading the kitchen and bringing her signature recipes, heartfelt hospitality, and soulful flavors to this East Side landmark. It’s more than a new location—it’s the next chapter of a family story built on love, resilience, and community.
